someoddI LOVE @fosstodon. Once I have a proven trackrecord with running an IRC server, I wouldn't mind hosting a #fostodon channel on my IRC server, if that sounds reasonable.

Since we are fully open-sourced we thought #fostodon and the #fediverse in general might be a good place to be.
Let's start by introducing the team. We are 4 developers, all based in Europe and with previous experience in other open-source projects. You could say it's in our blood ๐ฉธ
Shoq ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ก, we have an important # Element .io (#Matrix client) application already built. But it has a bug (or configuration error) that prevents email invites from directing a new user to a particular chat room. Volunteers have not helped solve it.
We are willing to pay for someone with the experience needed to fix it. Itโs probably fairly simple for such folks. Can you or someone you know please help us (or recommend more tags for this post)?

Seriously, and joking apart, a big thank you to Ralf Rottmann @ralf who ran and is now closing down the Home.Social instance. This was my first social media presence and for the last 7 or 8 months and I have met some nice people, seen some nice #photography and had fun.
I am sorry to see it go and best wishes to Ralf for whatever comes next.
