maybe i'm just not getting the bobiverse books but i'm on the second one and honestly it's just kinda boring. the first one had a really unsatisfying ending, this one just continues from the last one like it was serialised and then it had to be lightly edited so that the beginning isn't empty of any context

and the stakes feel like they're non-existent honestly. idk. anyone else read these? maybe im missing something
