River #Herring (alewife and blue herring) climbing the #fishLadder on Back River toward Whitmans Pond, just above Jackson Square in #Weymouth, #Massachusetts, USA, just a few miles south of #Boston. This restored run occurs in late April and early May each year. We saw many more gulls and cormorants than people today! The gulls we’re having trouble handling the large herring.
