I made a short game for kids with an ankylosaur as player character. It's very simple and even more important: it's my first gamer ever, so it's far away from being perfect. I've made it for my son (4) and just remove some collectable letters (his name) for public.

I see the all things that could be better but nevertheless I am proud of it. 🙂

Got my sketchbook on and started figuring out how my horror fiction concept can be gamified. Decided to focus on making a prototype/vertical slice of a simple tutorial area. This should give me plenty to be getting on with in terms of how to set things up in #Godot and make a start with modelling/asset creation. #gamedev #firstgame

So today i "made" a new video. well not really. because its an old video from 3 years ago. showing my first game i made in #Godot. man time flies. At this point, I was not yet confident that I could learn to make anything more advanced than this. I am have been happily proven wrong though. I hope this is motivating to someone.

Throwback: my first godot game

This is a video from about 3 years ago in June 2021 showing the first game I made while learning Godot. As you can see, it's pretty simple. At this point, I was not yet confident that I could make anything more advanced than this. I am have been happily proven wrong though. But we all start from somewhere. So here is where I started. (Within Godot of course.)

Ok, quiero compartir esto porque estoy muy contento.

Además de los modelos 3D que compartí hace una semanas también estuve trabajando en otra cosa...

¡Mi primer Videojuego!

A ver, no es nada del otro mundo, un simple juego de solitario hecho en Godot, pero no estoy exagerado cuando digo que este es mi mayor logro hasta la fecha, mayor que mi título universitario incluso, ya que este puede ser el comienzo de un viaje realmente especial para mí.

Les agradecería que si pudiesen le echasen un ojo y me dijeran que tal está. Está lejos de estar pulido, pero cualquier feedback es buen feedback.

También, si me permiten, voy a explayarme un poco con un hilo contando mi experiencia creando el juego 🧵
