So, the below profile is for an AI bot that is being run as part of a Web3 Crypto platform. (sigh)

If you want to know more about this: https://launch-lobstarwilde.com/#about
The bot is: https://lobstarwilde.ai/

Yes, the account is marked as a bot, but there doesn't appear to be an opt-in / opt-out or other information about the bot. And if I take it's posts at face value, it looks like it is using the posts it can see as training information.

So, the petty shit @xrobau has decided to go through all my posts (probably reading private messages, too), and start limiting my account based on me telling people to fuck off when they reply-guy me.

This guy is an utter dirtbag of an admin, and I'd suggest #Fediblocking mastodon.au as soon as possible

@mmasnick this is super helpful. But one question I still can't quite grasp.

In the #ATprotocol server space, do the server admins themselves have the ability to ban users or remove content regardless of and prior to the users choosing their own moderation filters?

I also can't tell if the BlueSky/ATprotocol space allows for admins also have something analogous to #Fediblocking users and content from other ATprotocol servers.

Or do they only label and hope?

If admins in BlueSky can act like admins on Mastodon, I'd feel assured that they were on the better track, banning users and removing content on their own servers, and the equivalent of "#fediblocking" or "blueskyblocking" remote individuals, remote servers, etc, from their own servers.

RIght now worried all they can do is label and hope.

Will keep digging.

@newt @genmaicha @karolat I'm using #fediblock for #fediblocking and no one will stop me
Akkoma

with the recent #fediblock nonsense targeting my home instance and some people who I follow (and who are, in my experience, 100% cool and don't deserve the bullshit accusations being thrown at them), I feel like I have to say something: a thread🧵

#fediblock #fediblocking #fediblockmeta

Regarding #Mastodon and #fediblocking creating "filter bubbles": YES, this is completely fine. In any social network, federated or not, I only want to see what I want to see. My "timeline" is as much a private space as my profile, I want to control it. If somehow I see things I don't like as they are relayed by people I am connected to I want to be able to hide these things or completely boot the people out of my sight.
