sbersonSad to hear that the venerable 8x10 music venue in Baltimore's Federal Hill, will be closing permanently soon. Grateful I got to play at it a handful of times back in the early 1990's, along with seeing a bunch of great shows there as well. Here's some artifacts I've saved from shows I played at there, from back in the day, pre- internetz, when printing & posting flyers for shows was what you did. Sometimes I miss flyer art, and I certainly miss a growing list of now closed music venues I came up with.

Baltimore City, MD — Shattered windshields and damaged storefronts lined Riverside Avenue in Federal Hill on Tuesday, the aftermath of a destructive overnight crime spree.Around 11:00 pm in 1300 block, several car windows were reportedly smashed. Including, the windshield to Deborah Boyd’s Lexus, causing what she says is roughly $1,000 worth of damage.“It keeps happening over and over again,” she said, “There are a couple neighbors that did hear and see something going on.”Many area residents believe repeat juvenile offenders are behind the crime.
