KTM Berhad (#KTMB) had responded to the media regarding certain issue surrounding usage of cards at the #faregate.
KTM Komuter now supports #MyDebit card (#debitcard issued by local banks in #Malaysia), requires an RM30 pre-authorization hold.
#KTM does not yet support #debitcards issued outside Malaysia as well as all #creditcard, but they're working on enabling said support, which will take some time as those use different #backend system.
The upgrades on the automatic fare collection system for the #KTMKomuter network in #KlangValley are almost complete.
#creditcard & #debitcard payments will be supported by all 57 Komuter stations throughout Klang Valley starting from mid-November.
Once the system is open to public, #passenger can just tap their credit & debit card directly on the reader on the newly upgraded Automated Control Gate (ACG) to make their payment.

As she approaches exit gate of the station, she encounters a stray cat casually sitting on top of the scanner that commuters need to tap before entering or exiting the station.

Express Rail Link (ERL) is informing users of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit that they're upgrading their contactless payment system at the gates to make passenger travel experience faster and smoother.
The installation will be carried out from 10 to 13 September 2023. During this period, passengers can still use their contactless credit/debit card or Apple Pay/Samsung Pay at the gate.

#KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (#KITS) is coming to #KTMKomuter service in the #KlangValley from 10 September 2023.
The system is already being used for #KTMKomuterUtara service in the North Region, #KTM #ETS service, and various #KTMIntercity services including KTM #TebrauShuttle service.
With the implementation of this system, you buy the #ticket for your journey using the mobile app KTMB Mobile, and scan the #QRcode displayed in the app at the #faregate.
