This week I found buttons and finally finished my 1988 Cardigan after knitting on it for 4 months. Since I've never done colourwork this big before and had hardly any experience in steeking, it was quite an exciting project and now I have only love for this garment. Needless to say that I am wearing it almost all the time since adding the buttons.

A few days before christmas I got to the point on my longterm project that I feared a bit: cutting the front steek. But it went so well! I learned that steeking can be intimidating but with a good choice of yarn (I used some shetland yarn) the steek is very safe and secure and it's somehow fun.
