Shock, horror. I have knitted 6 rows of the ribbing in the round and I think it's twisted. This is not the first time this has happened. Taking my last attempt at this pattern into account it's not even the 6th. Maybe the 10th. It's been such a lovely day knitting too, and listening to this month's book club book, #AGreatReckoning by #LouisePenny (A Shetland Noir 2026 Author). But I might have to frog the lot. A few days before christmas I got to the point on my longterm project that I feared a bit: cutting the front steek. But it went so well! I learned that steeking can be intimidating but with a good choice of yarn (I used some shetland yarn) the steek is very safe and secure and it's somehow fun.
