Took Landscape in Sunlight by Elizabeth Fair to the favourite restaurant Cardamomo in #Leiria (center of #Portugal). Everything is always so delicious, thank you Cardamomo!
Also, thank you to Dean Street Press for republishing Fair's books. This one is being a delight😍 (also, stunning choice of a cover)

Delighted to have acquired this Eric Ravilious original lithograph from a book from 1938. It's not signed but still...it's lovely. It will be taking pride of place somewhere in the house.
It's called Model Ships.

My parents moved to Chichester after they’d both retired a couple of decades ago. It’s never struck me as a particularly exciting town. My father died in 2015 and my mother died two years ago this coming Saturday, so I don’t tend to visit these days.

Painted in 1935 whilst Ravilious was living at Castle Hedingham this perspective is from the village.

Lovely, thank you. I'm just listening to part of Suite for Timothy, which on YouTube is illustrated with Eric Ravilious paintings (a big favourite of mine), fitting perfectly with the mid-century character of her music.
