The Sunday crew decided to pause our #elementalApocalypse #Dnd5e game and test drive the new 2024 edition for a few sessions.

We’re big #Greyhawk fans, so we’re using the setting material from the #DMG and heading to the Ciry of Greyhawk.

Get out your bell bottoms and get ready to disco - we’re heading back to the 70s! (common year 570s that is … )

Prepping to run my #ElementalApocalypse campaign, which I haven't done in ages.

I hate/love I get some of my best ideas two hours before game time.

Watching the new #SalemsLot on Max, doing some campaign prep for #ElementalApocalypse #ttrpg #mapmaking
Back to our #RuinsOfAerdy campaign (our second #ElementalApocalypse game). We're venturing into the slowly-flooding mines beneath Broke Pitch Gulch in the fallen Great Kingdom. #DnD #TTRPG #RPG

Working on a battle map for tonight's #DnD #ElementalApocalypse game. It's actually more of a playtest. I'm trying to figure out:

1. Dynamic light in Roll20 with light AND darkness effects.

2. Whether I can use my iPad Pro + AstroPad as a tablet for drawing maps in Inkarnate.

3. Whether I can use Apple's own Continuity feature to do the same.

Time for #DnD and the #RuinsOfAerdy campaign (the companion campaign to our other #ElementalApocalypse campaign, both set in the World of Greyhawk after the Temple of Elemental Evil rose).

And look, we made new friends!

Arter Boundless, making new friends in the #elementalapocalypse, as is his way. #DnD

Doing some research on the #Shadowfell for an upcoming #ElementalApocalypse game, in which the heroes go up against the shadow dragon Morsinth.

The dragon believes that the victory of the Elemental Princes - and their universe-ending lord Tharizdun - is inevitable, and seeks to retreat into the shadows and darkness.

Too bad he captured an angel that the heroes need to get back.

I'm envisioning the dragon's lair straddles the Prime Material Plane and the Shadowfell, with weirdness in between.

Back to #ElementalApocalypse, where the Heroes of Hope are battling shades under the control of a black dragon (perhaps a shadow black dragon?) who believes the world - and multiverse - are doomed to be consumed by Tharizdun's entropy.

Same battlefield ... but with a fireball temporarily illuminating the swamp.

This is very cool. I'd like to figure out how I can make the darkvision effect that I (as the DM) see show up as black-and-white. As is, it's hard for me to tell what's regular vision (from torches, fiery wings, etc.) and darkvision. #Roll20 #DnD #ElementalApocalypse
