With the scouts at Shadowfell again. 🌱 I think it's the most beautiful sim I've been to.
Messing around with ideas for my shadow dragon lair, which will be located on the boundary between the Shadowfell and the elemental-ravaged prime.
Currently figuring out the lighting effects. Two characters have dark vision, one has low-light vision, and the dragon itself can wrap itself in low light/darkness effects.
Am I making this overly complicated? Probably ... but if I can nail it, I think it'll be a lot of fun. #DnD #Shadowfell #Mapping #Inkarnate
Doing some research on the #Shadowfell for an upcoming #ElementalApocalypse game, in which the heroes go up against the shadow dragon Morsinth.
The dragon believes that the victory of the Elemental Princes - and their universe-ending lord Tharizdun - is inevitable, and seeks to retreat into the shadows and darkness.
Too bad he captured an angel that the heroes need to get back.
I'm envisioning the dragon's lair straddles the Prime Material Plane and the Shadowfell, with weirdness in between.
I suppose the #Feywild, #Shadowfell and #DemiplanesofDread are too close to #MaterialPlanes to count?
If so, then I would set it in either #Limbo or #Pandemonium. OR the #Elementalplanes of #Earth and #Water.
The nightling is a fearsome, but tiny, fey who wandered too far from the light. Created when a quickling wandered from the Feywild into the darkest reaches of the Shadowfell and encountered a nightwalker or something similar, they are undead and fey both, and infused with terrible necrotic
