TIP:

To defeat election rigging, motivate all the opposition* voters of one unit of ballots counting (the kind of smallest area from which you get official ballot results) to share and put in common their proof of vote (digital signature if it is electronic, photo of ballot if vote by mail, etc) or just their word that they voted for their candidate.

So that it makes a number of votes for the opposition*, to be compared by the implied number given officially. At least it gives a lowest bound.

(*) Here I am simplifying a bit, instead of "opposition" I should say "the non-rigging camp". But clearly, in any case, both (or all, if more than two) camps would benefit doing this. Except that it would expose political preferences. But the good thing is that this process cannot be used in bad faith. Someone whose voice is being used against their consent in that kind of open ballot could just contradict them publicly, effectively subtracting their vote (it cannot, however, be used to discredit the whole process, or else it would be too easy for a woe to first give their open vote then retract it publicly to destroy the credibility).
