all the DC caps replaced and the two big power caps also replaced
POW OR NO POW? One hour poll!
I can add that of the capacitors that did not explode, all six tested as good, with low ESR and within tolerances.

“So what does the #physicist bring to #Ferrari? “I think a few things. In #physics, one of the first lessons is that you need to keep in mind that all the points of view are important to understand reality.”
“Vigna is one smart cookie. At European tech company #STMicroelectronics he led the team that developed the 3D motion sensors that allow mobile phones to do so many clever things. Vigna has filed more than 200 #patents. Yet, curiously, he opposes the digital-first approach.”
“In the last, let’s say 15 to 20 years, too many cars became too difficult to be used. The reason why the car became so digital, with so many #TouchButtons instead of #MechanicalButtons … is because they are #cheaper.”

"Vlevo je fáze, vpravo je nula..." nebo ne? 🤔
Zkracuju přívod k Sovolu SV07. Zdířka s označením "N" vlevo je modrým vodičem spojená s fázovým kolíkem 🤌
Jak tohle dostalo CE, je mi záhadou...
Zásuvky hotové 🤙
Ještě chybí víčka na kraje a čeká mě zkrátit přívodní kabel k 3D tiskárně a sušičce filamentů.
Elektricky je ale hotovo 🙂
Nic nevybouchlo, ani nezahořelo 😎
Další fáze bude vytáhnout stejnou fázi na stůl do ostatních zásuvek (pun intended™)
#USB continues to infiltrate our lives...
I might be at the point where I need to keep some things powered by USB, rather than constantly swapping a charging cable. So I thought I'd look for a multi-point charger, one that seems reliable, not a #fireHazard, that sort of thing. What comes up?
Lots of variations on this... 😞

Spent an absolute age pulling network cables through conduit today. Does anyone have any tips for how to make it stress-free? I’m going to try cable lube next time.
One more thing out of storage; possible refurb project.
This Morphy-Richards QU10 convection heater dates to maybe* late 1950s?
It served as my main source of heating for a decade or so from 1996, though I always felt the need to keep an eye on it as it has no thermostat, no switch, and I'm not sure if it has a thermal cut-out. 😟
I think I replaced the plug around then.
