This is it! 2026 board. Don't see myself swapping anything out. Analog signal never gets converted again post-wireless. Can be played ad-hoc, or with extremely specific programming. Don't know of any pedals that have the same combo of attributes—inspiring sounds, ease of use, audio fidelity, midi flexibility, genre flexibility.

Opened up my Muff Pi 2 to see what's inside. Rather pretty.

The board mounts via the pots and the switch. I didn't get a good look at the components, because I didn't want to remove the knobs and all to release it.

Are pretty much all modern modulation and delay pedals built around the FV-1 chip?

That seems like all websites being wordpress sites.

I thought it was the new Muff 2, but it's the delay I ordered a while ago to fill in for my Digitech PDS2020.

First thoughts:

It's not the same animal at all. The old pedal went to 2 seconds and the modulation went wider, for stupidly psychedelic dooown dooooown uup up upupupupuppppp sounds - and it had a repeat hold.

This has a max 1 second, tap tempo, whooshes great when you crank the time knob, and is more hi-fi (what a difference 40 years makes).

Dag. Dopamine rush. Why am I so susceptible? Anyhoo, new pedal coming.

I just #GAS bought the new JHS Big Muff 2 two op-amp thing.
I figure it will have good resale value.

Meanwhile, I heard about a new Crazy Tube Circuits dual pedal that's one side an Orange amp-in-a-box, and the other side "inspired by" a FranTone Peach Fuzz, which I think means "we're not paying her." I like Fran. I hope they pay her.

What classic fuzz does the Foxx Tone Machine resemble the most when it's in non-octave mode?

Is it based on an earlier fuzz circuit?

I have a WA Foxy Tone Box, a muff, and a fuzz face, and it's deffo not the same as they are... I think?

So, is it a Tone Bender with a few extra components?
