1) It allows editing of toots , 2) You can upload GIFs directly without converting to the MP4 video format, 3) You can pin toots, and 4) You can read toots in vertical or horizontal format. The App Store is offering Toot for $3.99 USD but that’s a different app. I’m talking about ToooT, which Justin tells me is still free. Haven’t downloaded it for my Android device, yet. #MastodonApps #EditToots #ToooT

Fediverse instances communicate with #Cloucflare in order to perform basic functions (eg. #editToots, #deleteToots, #tootImages #tootMultimedia etc.)
Not good!
Basically #Tor users on #Mastodon are turned over to a #massSurveillance entity, making it useless to #whistleblowers and many #publishers.
This needs to change.

We've been forced into using text only on the #Fediverse. As a #Tor user we cannot #uploadImages, #uploadVideos nor #editToots or #deleteToots.
As limiting as that is, we don't mind. Its freeing in a way, as there's no temptation to produce images, which takes time. Even the rushed images that we published on #Failbook took time.
Having said we might be interested in joining the #onionRouter version of the Fediverse - in some capacity ;)
