So apparently if you edit a post with a poll in it, the edit function gets really... enthusiastic.

And deletes the votes.

It is so handy to retrieve and edit!!

#Spoutible doesn't appear to have an #EditFunction; it also #AutoCorrects #MyHashtags and #Username to its #PreferredRepresentation rather than #Mine...

What I do in these instances is use the #EditFunction that the Birdsite never got running. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Finally the Edit function has been added to the Toot! App. Itโ€™s supposed to work if your server is on Mastodon 4.0. Until this latest update the only other option was to Delete & Re-Post. Thanks again to @scrivener for pointing the availability of this function out to me! #tootapp #editfunction #mastodon4

@thatnerddave @thatnerdkris -- Because of my many typos, I like the #EditFunction in Mastodon a lot. It was introduced recently and quickly. There also are issues which I miss or things which I don't like, but the speed of the recent improvements made me confident that Mastodon will be a serious competitor to Elon Musk's new $44 Billion toy.

Recently I found that also the German government implemented an own Mastodon instance (https://social.bund.de/explore), so it's serious business.

Ahhh! The #EditFunction is here. I fixed a typo in my introductionโ€”added the missing word โ€œget.โ€ Note how it shows โ€œEditedโ€ in the extended time stamp. Very handy!
