OK, so the filter appears to be working. Unsure about the option for "whole word" as I unchecked it for Twitter assuming it would capture twitter and twitterfeed and the filter didn't seem to work the rechecked it and it now is.

Maybe it doesn't filter hashtags and that is why I was seeing #twitterfeed?
