A mix of fiction and non-fiction and a good start (this is by no means comprehensive) if you, like me, want to prepare yourself to help others, build community, and bring others along with you. Any privilege you have, use that to open minds and hearts to help. We will need as many as possible. As overwhelming as it may be, do not stop caring and do not tell yourself anything is inevitable. Nothing is inevitable unless no one cares enough to try.
