This a local Indivisible event! Join me in protesting tyranny by standing in unity at the Squirrel Hill corner of Murray and Beacon from 5PM until 6PM on Mondays. Any Monday, every Monday. If you would care to: bring a sign, bring a voice, bring perhaps a bit of outrage, and bring a HAT. This event is inspired by Vicki (daily at the corner of 5th and Shady, 5PM to 6PM) who has proven that one person's efforts have vast reach. Her largest audience to date was 2,000 people. This is also in keeping with the growing movement by Indivisible members who are selecting an accessible corner for non-violent protest and standing up to tyranny! Please, feel free to join me! The more the merrier!

Let Freedom Ring!! Our Dream of an America "with liberty and justice for all," is being replaced by a Nightmare of chaos, violence, hatred, and fear. Join us to Sound the Alarm! We invite all people to join us who want to continue to raise their voices in support of the dream of democracy, diversity, equality, and freedom to Ring a bell at 6:30 pm. Ring them on your door steps, in your driveways, on your street corners, outside your dorms, with your neighbors, with a group of people or wherever you are. We are ringing them for approximately 10-15 minutes each evening for the duration of the Months of April and May and longer if needed. For more information go to https://sites.google.com/view/let-freedom-ring/home “IF, I HAD A BELL, I’D RING IT IN THE MORNING, I’D RING IT IN THE EVENING, ALL OVER THIS LAND. I’D RING OUT DANGER, I’D RING OUT WARNING, I’D RING OUT LOVE BETWEEN MY BROTHERS AND MY SISTERS, ALL OVER THIS LAND.”

With the end of Daylight Savings Time, we will meet every day from 4 to 5pm on the corner of Shady Ave and 5th Ave in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Participants should follow a few guidelines: 1. Signage on all issues is welcome but we prefer to see positive messages like “Welcome the Stranger,” instead of crude attacks on Trump and conservatives 2. Do not respond to those who yell rude things, flip us off or try to engage in hostile debates. We understand that it is difficult to change the minds of those who disagree with us but our goal is to bring people along with positivity. In these difficult times we are collecting non-perishable food for the East End Food Pantry. It is strongly suggested that monetary donations be made when possible. Please visit, eecm.org/communityfoodservices. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*

Join fellow activists on the sidewalk in front of the Giant gas station on Norland Ave from 2-3pm every Sunday for the 2026 “Signs of Fascism” action. You will be provided a black sign with white lettering stating one sign or symptom of Fascism. Attendees are encouraged, not required, to wear black. If needed, please bring a chair. Members of the Franklin County Democratic Committee, as well as old and new friends, are committed to keeping our neighbors informed about the many ways the Trump regime is undermining our Constitution and acting illegally in the U.S. and around the globe. We are intentionally visible, join us and you can be visible too! Contact Avril Williams at: [email protected] with questions or concerns.

Join us on Saturday, May 9th at 1 p.m. on Rt. 6 in front of Target in North Dartmouth, MA when we standout in support of a Mother's Day Weekend Target Boycott! For too long, Target has been steadfast in its complicity in the Regime’s violation of our Constitutional rights. The people have shown that our power is strong in efforts to demand change and to stop abuses of power. While many of us have been boycotting Target already, this action is important to build momentum, share new information, and include those who may not be able to participate in permanent boycotts. *Bring your signs, your friends and family, and your positive and peaceful attitude! Festive attire, singing, music, bubbles, and flowers encouraged. *We will be standing on the sidewalk on Rt. 6 in front of Target and on the sidewalk on the road leading into the plaza. *Please park in the lot in front of the TGI Fridays building for easy access.
