By the early 2000s, the fountain was in very poor shape and pretty much the only parts of this group which survived were the legs. However, in 2004, the entire fountain was repaired and restored, including recreating the missing parts of the India statues.

The representation of India created by John Board on the 1887 Doulton Fountain on Glasgow Green. Designed for the 1888 International Exhibition, it's the largest terracotta fountain in the world. It features Queen Victoria at its summit, while at the bottom are representations of the four components of her empire: Australia, Canada, South Africa and India.

<p>Royal Doulton Three Musketeers Plate. </p><br /><p>The plate is decorated with the image of three musketeers. The reverse shows the Royal Doulton stamp together with what I imagine is a pattern number and what I assume is a signature by Charles Noke, although I’m not certain.</p><br /><p>The plate measures approximately 27 centimetres total diameter and unfortunately has a hairline crack, visible in the photos. As with all vintage porcelain, the glaze is showing signs of age related crackling.</p><br /><p>Please take a look at the photos and zoom in for detail.</p>
