37 years ago today, I witnessed #PsychicTV materialize at the #VarietyArtsCenter in downtown LA. I came expecting groovy #hyperdelia, but instead what they (#GenesisPOrridge, #PaulaPOrridge, & #FredGiannelli) served up was my first dislocating dose of honest-to-god #AcidHouse. Tons of samples atop heavy, loud polyrhythms - my ears/head/spirit were ringing well past Easter Sunday.
Also of note: Gen was wearing an oversized #CelebritySkin t-shirt - apparently, he and CS drummer #DonBolles went way back.
The world is full of people with weird passions and I love them all, mostly. Learning about #DonBolles's collection of decades' worth of lost pet posters was a moment of pure joy (I just wish more of it was online):
