A wonderful, lazy day in the Vosges. We went for two long walks around the village, and apart from that we watched the rain and listened to the thunderstorm. It’s a good thing that Tapis and Éclaire aren’t afraid of the thunder, and that Ici is now deaf enough not to be scared anymore. Everyone had time to read books, and there was cheese from Saint-Nectaire and Meaux for everyone. That’s what holidays are all about.

The day started at minus 5 degrees Celsius, which even froze the beach. That's rare here, but it was very nice. Then there was the usual mix of sun, sleet, wind—everything you can get here. In any case, the Rudel really enjoyed it. A beautiful day.
