I was working on a Discord bot in April last year that tracks earthquakes in Japan. After I got it working I said “eh good enough” and ran it for a bit and then forgot about it after 2 weeks.

Then after the 7.6M earthquake in Ishikawa, I remembered my bot existed and launched it up again but with new code fixes, commands and self-hosted on a Raspberry Pi 4 instead of Google Colab. Never knew what I make would come in handy!
