"I have deleted Windows 10 and installed Ubuntu. I will never use Windows again; Game Over.

Months of tweaking Windows 10: removing services, stopping processes, uninstalling apps, doing all sorts of hacks, I was done. Over. I can't handle this garbage anymore.

I made a final decision & switched to Linux Ubuntu.

I'm relieved.

I'm so surprised that people are still using Windows. Something is wrong."

"I have deleted Windows 10 and installed Ubuntu. I will never use Windows again; Game Over.

After months of tweaking Windows 10: removing services, stopping processes, uninstalling apps, and doing all sorts of hacks, I was done. Over. I can't handle this garbage anymore. It's so slow, so resistant to any form of change or customization, and so phony.

So I made a final decision and switched to Linux Ubuntu. I used its bootable usb version; and it worked perfectly. So I made a careful backup of my files and installed a from scratch windowsless copy.

Despite a not-so-fast boot, Ubuntu works awesomely. Perfectly multitask, fast multi-app handling, no lagging, no useless gui garbage.

I'm relieved. My last desktop experience with Linux was the good old Redhat in the times of the good old Mandrake then some Fedora. I was not fully aware that desktop Linux has become so ubiquitous and easy to install and to use.

I'm so surprised that people are still using Windows. Something is wrong. The Ubuntu (and Linux in general) community should spread the information in a persistent and broader way.

Some review sites say that Ubuntu performs slightly better than Windows 10. Well this is absolutely wrong. It performs much much better. The gap is so wide that you can't even compare them.

Game Over."

A Linux snippet of the day. From Reddit.

"Now owing to my frustration with Windows 10, I decided to finally give up on the Windows ecosystem and installed Ubuntu when Windows didn't even bother to correctly finish installation this time.

Sometimes I wonder how great life would've been if I only used Ubuntu since I was a kid."
