#Fedilab need an immediate/fast/convenient way to long-press and select which account to Bookmark to. Must be in the main interface, not hidden in a menu. (Need bookmarking MUCH more than "favoriting", IMO. #socialMedia #deciSeconds #efficiency

Subdividing language posts into different "hats" or "identities" is part of the challenges related to helping each other manage #informationOverload better.
What is actually needed is a setup that only #Hubzilla offers; multiple such "identities" (#channels as Hubzilla quite approprietly calls them), within 1 and the same #account (#Nomadicidentity in HZ terminology).
Fortunately HZ can communucate with #Mastodon and the #Fediverse. I am in the process of setting up a demo of how all this may work together.

Hi @danie10,
I just went through your last month of (interesting) boosts and boosted what I found relevant via my various focused #Mastodon accounts (I have a similar "demo setup" on Twitter) as a visualization and demonstration of why multiple "channels" are useful, but more importantly to illustrate why we need multiple such "identities" (read: "channels") per ACCOUNT.
Some of them was interesting on a personal/health level, some related to tech, some for future perspective and development of society, etc.
This is what the #nomadicidentity concept of #Hubzilla is all about, and I am currently in the process of shifting over to that now.
I wonder how/when efficiency apps such as #Fedilab, #Tusky and #AndStatus will adapt to accomodate multiple identities ("channels") per account, as opposed to the inefficiency and inscalability of the current 1-to-1 model.
This is a matter of importance in order to #collaborate about quality news etc. in facing the unstoppable #informationOverload, and about #efficiency, saving each one of us valuable time, ultimately on the #deciSeconds level...

That is a design/GUI #perspective. Essentially a question of theming.
I'd prefer to combine all communication into one place, where notifications/alerts/follow-ups, #tagging and content re-use can be (partially) automated and managed efficiently.

Wonderful. Thanx a bunch, @tom79 :-)

Thanx for the "warning".
Even though u might not have intended for it to be taken literally as a "warning", I respond to it as such here now:
@Gargron has been doing the same with kittens for a while. As a consequence, I am "following" his account from my personal @EzqimoXV account instead of from my #Mastodon / #SocialMedia focused @LeeteqXV account. I might have to unfollow you from my @ZeniorXV account and follow u from my much less used personal account for the same reason:
I do not want my topic focused timelines "polluted" with lots of "off-topic"/"work-wise uninteresting" bunnies or kitten toots.
Simply a #time and #efficiency concern.
This is why I examplify the use of multiple accounts, and also trying to make a point if why we need "#multiidentity " handling within a single account to combat #informationOverload.
To save #time we need to be able to filter theese hashtags further down, restricting the results to for example only toots from users that includ the hashtags in question also in their profile either with or without the # symbol.
As we are certainly going to move on from #twofactor #authentication / #2FA to #multifactor "soon" anyway, perhaps you can consider offering that convenience first only to the #ITsecurity "front runners" who already have #U2F compatible devices such as the #Yubikey by Yubico, which will allow (secure) registration within seconds..?
