I feel so dirty. Helping out a couple of people dealing with #endof10. Got them some Lenovo PCs and setting up Windows 11 for them. I hate myself for this.
Windows 11 is such an atrocious, spyware filled, advertisement ridden, soul sucking piece of shit OS.
Cramming stupid online account requirements down peoples throats.
Why do I need to run all these deshittifier apps to make Windows 11 somewhat functional knowing that in a few months some update will put all the crap back?
For all those who cannot or do not want to do without Windows 11, here is a great method explained by Gary to get a completely debloated and lean Windows 11 on the computer, free of MS services and telemetry.
All with MS's own means, completely safe and effective. I've tried it myself on a ThinkPad and think it's great. There's not even an MS Store or Edge on it, completely naked. You only download what you really need. It uses a fraction of the usual resources, no more data is sent and the annoying ads from MS that are getting out of hand are also history. 👍
