@tisha Good news! I found another extension that also disables clickbait thumbnails and titles, with community provided ones!
@andyger.bsky.social I use @FreeTube . Benefits:
- No ads
- You can choose to use #Youtube or #Invidious as the backend
- You can 'subscribe' to channels without a #Google account
- You can enable the #SponsorBlock add-on to skip sponsored segments
- You can enable the #DeArrow add-on to remove click-baity thumbnails and titles
A lot of this you can do in the browser, but I find FreeTube more stable than Invidious and the ad-blocking better than #uBlockOrigin.
Maybe, there should be a new #browserExtension like #SponsorBlock, #DeArrow, #CaptainFact, and #tournesol, to which people can upload their videos without #AI filters if they are affected by #YouTube's AI filters. Projects like #Piped and #Invidious could natively support this and directly play the non-AI impacted videos.

@christophe J'ai pas de réponse directe, mais pour améliorer votre #UX sur #YouTube, il y a #SponsorBlock → https://sponsor.ajay.app qui permet de passer automatiquement certaines portions de vidéo (promo, intro, etc.) et #DeArrow → https://dearrow.ajay.app qui permet de remplacer les aperçus et les titres putaclics des vidéos (en plus de #uBlock Origin pour bloquer les pubs évidemment).
Sinon, #FreeTube → https://freetubeapp.io rassemble tout en un (et avec mode audio possible, plus #écolo).
