Can't help thinking that the politics around #Ukraine this week was a coordinated action by the regular bad actors.

I'm thinking of it as 'throwing a #DeadCat through the #OvertonWindow' (although it's really rudimentary 'art of the deal' stuff)

Trump's 'Zelenskyy is a dictator' was the over-reaching cat that enabled Farage to say (after breath had been baited) 'Trump is wrong, but we should consider elections in Ukraine' as an (apparently) moderate view.

There's always a longer game.

I know the term "dead cat is over used. But could it apply here?

So instead of the talk being about freezing pensioners / corruption in political donations/ inaction in the face of genocide, it's about sausages?
