I'm not sure what it is, but something about Dorman's style lends itself well to rocks/concrete, so this is a great pairing of character & artist.

We're deep into the 2099 imprint by now, and one of the "very 90s" aspects of this set (and really, all the early Masterpieces sets) is the way 2099 stuff gets put on the same level as classic characters.
