062 - Mystique
One of the subtler design elements of this set that helps it pop is the dotted line. Less intrusive than the older borders - allowing full bleed art - it still creates depth when figures are placed in front of/behind it.

061 - Omega Red
Not the best card (though there is a nice wild energy to the figure), but I'd buy an entire set of cards painted by Earl Norem, whose Masters of the Universe work imprinted on me at a very early age.
060 - Apocalypse
For whatever reason, this card always makes me think of the second Toy Biz Apocalypse figure, which was noticeably thiccer, especially in the waist & shoulders, from the original.
059 - Cyber
Cyber w/relatively normal proportions reminds me of just how consistently heavily-stylized his early appearances are - Sam Keith, Larry Stroman, even Adam Kubert. This card may be the first time he's looked "normal."
058 - Juggernaut
Not the most dynamic of Juggernaut cards, but there's still a good sense of movement and a pleasant "solidness" to the figure that works well.
057 - Deadpool
Nice card, but not doing those Spider-Man allusions no favors. 😏
056 - Mr. Sinister
Another year without any stories offering concrete background info on Sinister, another Sinister trading cardback trying to say something about nothing.😁
Having him holding Wolverine's (old) mask is an odd choice.
055 - Magneto
An iconic Magneto to kick off the first full Super-Villain page. In a nice touch, the color shifts to purple for the bad guys.
I think this is the only place I've seen the Acolytes referred to as the "Mutants of Avalon."
054 - Colossus
Unlike Feral, Colossus - who threw in w/the Acolytes since the last set of cards - rightly gets listed as a Super-Villain.
I like too that he leads off that section. Not sure why he's fighting Doc Ock though.
