025 - Morbius
Continuing the 90s era renaissance of 70s horror characters, Morbius continues to be a mainstay of these sets.

024 - Psylocke
I believe this might be the first Psylocke card to reflect the Kwannon retcon in its cardback text.
Also, another card featuring a panel from something other than the character's first appearance on the back.
023 - Iron Fist
I appreciate that Jusko is doing characters he didn't do in the first series.
022 - Daredevil
I like the idea behind this card, good sense of movement as it tells a little story, but the angle of his left leg makes it look weirdly short & crumpled up.
021 - Doctor Doom
I'm a sucker for the "zoomed in closeup" trading card shot, but something about Doom's nose here throws the whole thing off. It seems disproportionately small.

020 - Hulk 2099
We're deep into the 2099 imprint by now, and one of the "very 90s" aspects of this set (and really, all the early Masterpieces sets) is the way 2099 stuff gets put on the same level as classic characters.
019 - Carnage
Jusko with a card that would feel right at home in Series 1 (Carnage, having just debuted, did not make the cut). Love the sense of depth created by the symbiote tendrils.
018 - Cable
One of the downsides is the panel reprint cardback is that sometimes, the card numbers get a bit lost.
017 - Beast
"Loquacious discourse on apocrypha" IS my cup of tea!
Another great Perez card.
