Yesterday another set of cables were broken in the Baltic by a ship leaving Russian ports. One 650MW power cable and another 4 comms cables.
For "some reason" the ship slowed just before it went over the cables and when it was later boarded the anchor was missing.
The ship is called Eagle S, is registered in the Cook Islands and is owned by a UAE freezone company Caravella LLCFZ. Good luck finding the actual owners.
