The definition of insanity is attempting the same thing twice and expecting different results.

So I’m about to embark on building a #csvw and #rdf qb service for cube data. This time it’s a RESTful API with some #OGC querying patterns baked in.

For the second time. The previous attempt was csvcubed. It because we asked people to write json to have it write more json.

Si, en cambio, se usan estándares que faciliten la interoperabilidad, como DCAT, los datos se vuelven más FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable)(Abre en nueva ventana) y, por tanto, más fáciles de reutilizar. No obstante, es necesario metadatos adicionales(Abre en nueva ventana) para que los datos sean más fáciles de integrar en flujos de aprendizaje automático.

Finally my actual #introduction; although I'm not new to mastodon, I'm new to this account...

I have a background in #statistics and #compsci, and am a lead data scientist on the Integrated Data Service for the UK government.

I talk a lot about #metadata, open standards, and "data as the #API".

I try to make data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable using #CSVW and #FOSS tools.

#Python > #R; however I don't have time for that flame war—there's so much cool #data about.
