Cosmo Communicator - SEASONAL SALE

I've released version 0.3.8 of my WIP #Psion Agenda-like "Pygenda" app targeting keyboard-equipped PDAs running Linux (e.g. #GeminiPDA, #CosmoCommunicator, #PinePhone with keyboard).

The main additions this release are:
• Anniversaries – something that Psion Agenda had, but which isn't in the iCal spec.
• Calendar styles, so you can set CSS for entries depending on the entry's calendar source (see photo for example).

I've released version 0.3.7 of my WIP #Psion Agenda-like app "Pygenda" targeting keyboard-equipped PDAs running Linux (#GeminiPDA, #CosmoCommunicator, #PinePhone + keyboard, #PocketReform, F(x)tec #Pro1X).

The last two releases have been bug-fix releases (two releases because minutes after 0.3.6, I noticed an API change in a dependency was causing a crash & rushed out a fix). Hopefully it's in a good state for testing now.

I've just released version 0.3.5 of Pygenda - my WIP #Psion Agenda-like app targetting #GeminiPDA & #CosmoCommunicator running Linux. (Similar keyboard #PDA type devices running #LinuxMobile should work too, e.g. #PinePhone + keyboard, F(x)tec #Pro1x, #PocketReform)

The main change this release is that todo-items with a due date are (optionally) shown in Week & Year Views. This has been a useful improvement for me as I now see todos in my "home" views, rather than having to switch to Todo View.

I've just released version 0.3.4 of Pygenda, my WIP Psion-style agenda application for keyboard-equipped handhelds running GNU-like Linux. The main changes this release are bug fixes and installation instructions for the Cosmo Communicator (see photos).

I bought a second-hand Cosmo Communicator a few weeks ago for miscellaneous tinkering. One aim was to get Pygenda (my Psion-inspired agenda app) running as well as on the Gemini PDA. It took a bit longer than expected, due to other activities & unanticipated differences between their Debian installs, but it's looking pretty good now.

(The appointments shown in the photo are not my real agenda - my social life is much less exciting 🙂)

While my ASUS C101P is great for subway productivity when seated, I can't use it when standing or on the go. Missing my PinePhone Pro Micro Laptop, I've looked into the #CosmoCommunicator again https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Planet_Computers_Cosmo_Communicator_(planet-cosmocom).

Its mainline story is not great sadly, but then it seems to be awfully close in some ways to the #MT8183 that has decent mainline support https://www.notebookcheck.net/MT8183-vs-Helio-P60_11547_10012.247596.0.html. Obviously, the MT8183 lacks a bunch of stuff the MT6771T has, but ... that might be a starting point, right?

I've just released v0.3.3 of Pygenda - my WIP #Psion-inspired agenda app for keyboard-equipped mobile linux devices. Main change is to move to more modern packaging, which should mean less fiddly installation & less work for me. So in theory a good time to try it out.
