So, the #OECD came up with a #minimumTax for #coporations of 15%…. If you don‘t participate, you get grey-/blacklisted. Only the #UnitedStates wants and gets an excemption. Next thing, #Trump lowers corporate taxes in the #US in his #oneBigBeautyfulBill aka #OBBB . That‘s a clear unfair advantage that #US corporations are getting here… so, the #valuation of US companies/#stockMarket will reflect that in a higher price allowing US corps to #takeOver/buy foreign corps with shares. Hmmm..

Ambrose Bierce nailing it over a century ago in the Devil's Dictionary:

CORPORATION, n. An ingenious device for obtaining individual profit without individual responsibility.

Study reveals how much carbon damage would cost corporations if they paid for their emissions

"The world’s corporations produce so much climate change pollution, it could eat up about 44% o f t h e i r p r o f i t s if they had to pay damages for it, according to a study by economists of nearly 15,000 public companies."

The “corporate carbon damages” from those publicly owned companies analyzed — a fraction of all the corporations — probably runs in the trillions of dollars globally and in the hundreds of billions for American firms, one of the study authors estimated in figures that were not part of the published research. That’s based on the cost of carbon dioxide pollution that the United States government has proposed."
