Does this #EU initiative bring advantages that (for instance) #mastodon and other #FOSS applications do not offer?

Back at the polls, this time to vote for a leader of the Ontario Liberals. Turnout was impressive here - of course, Nate Erskine-Smith is already our MP, so he's a fav 🤞
Not that I'm a liberal, exactly. But for the sake of renewing a relatively* progressive party, I registered & voted. It's ranked-ballot, should be interesting. Now I can go back to being undecided. #convinceMe 😁

@alfredo_liberal *sigh* It blows my mind the huge numbers of people that don’t engage and don’t vote. Can’t be bothered to make an effort.
It is exhausting and disheartening yet we plod along trying to persuade people to care, that their vote matters and can make a difference.
I’m taking a short break before gearing up again. But, damn. I wish the break was permanent… No Off Years, as my peeps say…
