This year's featured caller is Michael Karcher with music by Stove Dragon and Raven & Goose. Continues all day tomorrow with English country dancing and more contra.

Wore one of my 18-year old Casio Baby-G Whale watches. I change their batteries once every three years or so. I still like these watches, but they're pretty big & clunky.
People compliment them, but i never say the REAL reason I wear them dancing: when we do a 'star right' figure they prevent some guy's super sweaty hand from clamping my arm. My Baby-G happily takes the hit & i just suds it up in the sink when i get home! 😂

I enjoy oldtime music and medieval music, gardening , knitting , coffee with friends, cats , and contra dancing. I run a music social network for mountain dulcimer players at FOTMD.com
I'm in the US northeast, my politics are left leaning and I believe in treating folks with kindness. I do technical illustration for a living.
