Assisted suicide organization wants Netherlands to allow controversial Sarco pod

The Cooperative Last Will (CLW) organization is hoping to make the use of Sarco possible in the Netherlands which is a suicide capsule with nitrogen gas that was recently used in Switzerland for the first time. The suicide device was developed and manufactured in the Netherlands. Its first use, in September on a 64-year-old American, caused a stir.

Tot 2,5 jaar cel geëist tegen groep die mogelijk hielp bij zelfdoding

Het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) heeft maandag celstraffen tot 2,5 jaar geëist tegen zes mensen die worden verdacht van hulp bij zelfdoding in georganiseerd verband. Voor de zevende verdachte, een oud-bestuurslid van Coöperatie Laatste Wil (CLW), werd vrijspraak gevraagd.

@MennoOng Heel terurig dit. Het enige dat ik kan zeggen; zorg er voor dat je wilsverklaringen in orde zijn. Machtig iemand die het voor je kan zeggen als je dat zelf niet meer kunt. Zorg dat je huisarts je wens kent, vraag hem/haar wat hij/zij doet als de situatie zich voor doet.
Zorg voor een behandelverbod en stop met eten en drinken.
En steun de Coöperatie Laatste Wil.
