I was DJing in Manchester in 2001 & ElectroClash was a silly London Hipster scene, I'm surprised to read about how International it was. The music is not all good - a lot of it is music you imagine Indie Kids would make if they got access to synthesisers which is what it is.

Up in Manchester we were all about Richard X and International DJ Gigolos & played the tracks that influenced ElectroClash anyway, so we paid little mind.
