I #remember in my mid-20's #bragging to a girl that I lived so spartan, I only needed a sleeping bag and a blanket on my #bed. She said she could never sleep with anyone who didn't at least have #sheets. So you know what I did the next day? That's right, I went and got some goddamned sheets!

I still think of that every time I dress the bed with fresh #linens and make it up tight.

I hope the #women in my life understand how much of a #civilizing force they are to me.
