Success - I reconfigured one of the SDI outputs and now everything is working well. Definitely going to send an email out with notes on what I changed since I’m not on this week. Hopefully it brings more stability to the feed.
Time to go fix / check on the tech issues we had Sunday at church. With any luck, I’ll improve the stability of the lyrics feed to the streaming board.
Oh I forgot one! During second service, our upstream connection to our streaming platforms totally disconnected. Hard. I had to force it to go to a dedicated region that was close enough to get it started again.
We had hundreds of dropped frames and if you don’t resume a stream quickly enough, platforms will end the stream because they think it’s done. #churchtech #WereDoingItLive #livestream #soundtech #graphicstech
