The iconic #chimneys of the National Palace of Sintra, a medieval royal residence in Portugal, used by the Moorish Taifa of Lisbon from 1022–1034, and later in the 12th century, by the Portuguese after the reconquest. It became a favorite residence with the royals and remained occupied up until the 19th century and the end of the monarchy. It's architecture is a blend of Gothic, Manueline, Moorish, and Mudéjar styles.
