Good morning, Glasgow. After a very wet end to Sunday, it looks like Monday might be off to a better start. This was this morning's sunrise reflected (briefly!) in Fleming House on Renfrew Street in Glasgow City Centre. This Brutalist block was designed by Robert Bluck Associates and was built in the early 1960s.

I hope none of the Santas taking part in today's Santa Dash at Glasgow Green had their sleighs impounded because they left them in the wrong place - if they did, it'll make their Christmas deliveries rather difficult!

Just over 4,000 Santas (including me!) assembled at Glasgow Green this morning for the 2025 Santa Dash. This 5k run was being done in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity. This morning at Gas Holder Number 4 of the former Temple Gasworks in the west of Glasgow. It was built in 1893 by Barrowfield Ironworks Ltd for the Glasgow Corporation Gas Department, which had purchases the ste in 1890.
