Ich habs erstmal mit bereits gezogen Pflanzen probiert, der nächste Schritt wär dann mal selbst ziehen.

Dann wird es wohl demnächst ein unmenschliches Chilli sin/can Carne geben.

I'm starting a multi-year #horticulture #project. I plan to use #Fatalli chilli plants to manually pollinate the other 4 varieties I'm growing, to create hybrids next year and beyond. Haven't really bothered cross-breeding before, but its become something I want to play with more and more.
Also plan on building a greenhouse with thermostatic heating and auto irrigation system.

After over a year of nothing but leaves, my chilli plants are finally flowering and fruiting.

I don't know what variety they are, but the seed line has origins in India. The ripe fruit looks similar to a small birdseye, and is hot. Not a superhot, but hot enough for me to be very cautious with them.

I'm not quite a #chillihead yet, but find the breeding and growing of chilli varieties fascinating. I'm a fan of the Hippy Seed Company and if I had the time and space, I'd probably get into phenotype hunting.
