@justin so far things haven't been too bad. #CCS2 chargers are plentiful on the #chargefox network but the #CHAdeMO supported by our car aren't so common.
If we were on multiple charger networks or has a different model of car it would be a very different result.

'Bout time. Chargefox is going to start charging idle fees to EV drivers who stay too long hogging chargers.

Chargefox will start charging idle fees for EVs that stay too long

Stay too long at a Chargefox charger in Australia from next month and you could cop a per-minute idle fee for the privilege.

Last weeekend my wife and I went for a long drive to Melbourne in our new electric car
Things I learnt
Not speeding and sitting at 100kph saves roughly 2kw/100km
Slipstreaming behind another vehicle at a safe distance (3 car lengths) saved another 2kw/100km. Neither of the above things is new and I'm a little old to have worked this out, but the EV gave us live power demand so it was crystal clear
#Chargefox chargers seem to have an issue with maintenance. Having chargers knocked out for days (weeks) is not good enough. Its also a gamble if the charger will keep charging without needing to be reset.
Unfortunately Charging locations are still quite industrial. I thought existing food/petrol places would be the most logical position. Nope, vacant tumbleweed locations or Supermarket receiving docks seem to be what the market wants

Anyone know of a @Chargefox Web API I can hit to get charger status, really hate having to scrape web pages with code #PowerShell #ChargeFox
