High Court to hear challenge against Victoria's electric vehicle tax, determine if levy is unconstitutional
Victoria charges electric vehicle users by how much they travel under a law the High Court is being urged to strike out on the basis the state does not have the power to impose the charge.

Attached: 1 image Two weeks ago Mick Liubinskas and I drove an #EV from Sydney to Pokolbin - at no servo nor service centre along the entire route did we find any place to charge our EV! When we got to our destination, there were two chargers -- we tried to use one, but our 'brand' was wrong, so the charger refused to charge our vehicle!!! That's the state of public charging infrastructure in Australia. It needs a lot of work. And it needs that work now.
