Turns out there was lots of oil but the boiler was the issue. Watching worlds strongest man and they are very strong. This account has movedI am soooo rubbish at diy but just for lack of wonga I do what I can .Drained the central heating this morning (the drain tap is mercifully outside),put cleaning solution in the system and will drain again in a couple of days & add inhibitor. I'm never confident with this s*** but hell I at least did it whilst making sounds like Zilly from Stop the pigeon. #CentralHeating

There's a UK "community interest company" called #Depher which can be found on fedi (mastodon.social) and on other social media platforms may offer advice/help.
They do what councils used to do.

We have a Logic Combi Esp30 boiler.
The digital display is showing c and the burner light keeps coming on.
However we have turned our thermostats off. The downstairs thermostat was set to 18degC but registering 22degC with radiators going full whack.
Upstairs was set to 18degC, registering 18degC but even turning the temp up wasn't warming the radiators.
Any idea how we can work out WTF is triggering it?
