I crossed over the thousand mile mark this weekend with two really nice road bike rides reaching 1003 miles for 2025. It was fortunate that we had nice weather over the weekend.

Left: This is a nice mostly flat 23 mile round trip road bike route we did on Saturday from Capitola (CA) to Wilder Ranch State Park and passing through Santa Cruz and along the Beach Boardwalk amusement park.

Right: Sunday’s ride was a hill test on this 14 mile round trip road bike route from Aptos to Manresa State Beach on Sunday.
