C# top-level pgms (introduced C# 9) are a game-changer as far as #teaching goes. They eliminate so much boiler plate and hand-waiving that is necessary in Java and in prior C# versions.

Nice things about adopting C#: It enables using Visual Studio which in turn enables using C# in later courses involving forms, mobile apps, ...

So much that I'm seriously thinking of making a C# version of my Java intro course. Just need someone to push me to do it. 😁
